IGP (formerly Schutzhund/ IPO)

This class is for those wanting to do the sport. We do obedience followed by protection work. We focus on putting the foundation in place methodically and with excellent technique.  It is not required that you take our focused obedience program, but it is certainly helpful if you have an obedience membership for the shared language. That will give you an understanding of our methodology and why we do things the way we do them. Our new competition field is in, and we expect to host trials 2-3 times per year.

This class is offered through Gold Country Working Dog Club and you will pay AT THE FIELD (not ahead of time). Please do sign up though, so that we know you are coming. Also, if an emergency happens, we can notify you! If you are not already a member of the Club, we encourage you to join the IGP Club as well!
