DESCRIPTION:This is a time for anyone to come and practice in Barnhunt. There will be up to four rats available for practice. People are encouraged to set hides for each other\, or you can just run your dog on whatever you need to. It is so important to get some successful runs in between trials! Its also great to work “blind” problems where someone can help you if you miss the dog’s subtle indications so that you can help your dog learn what you want from them! We focus on putting the foundation in place methodically and with excellent technique.  It is not required that you take our focused obedience program\, but it is certainly helpful if you are. That will give you an understanding of our methodology and why we do things the way we do them. We host trials here at the facility. DESCRIPTION:Whether you are after titles\, or just some awesome fun\, come check out the flying dogs! We have so much fun at these events. As always we will plan to BBQ on Saturday night. Please bring a side and join in on the fun. Check our Facebook Event for more details as we get closer to the event! \nThis event will use jump cards.  We will send out a voluntary prepayment link when the date for the pulls from the event occurs. We will send it out again after the event closes. You will make payment and then sign up on the online running order.  It is your responsibility to pay first and then sign up for the appropriate number of splashes.  If you are on the online sign up but have not paid\, we will remove you. You can pay at the event and sign up on the run order there if you prefer\, however\, spots are offered first come\, first served. \nThe online running order will be the running order for the event. First come. First Served.   You may not jump the same dog more than twice per hour. You may stay all day if you wish and spread your jumps over throughout the day (you do not have to leave when your jumps are done as during Covid). The online running order is designed to give you the convenience of knowing when your jump slots are and plan travel accordingly.  If you miss your slot for not being here\, you will be able to sign up in the next available open slot upon arrival. \nYou must have a NADD number to participate. \nSign up Here \nSat\, Sun will have distance jumps and either AR or HD. Please look at event website to determine. \nWalkups will be accommodated until entries are maxed out. \nThis is a sanctioned event by North America Diving Dogs. Titles earned here will be eligible for recognition by American Kennel Club.

DESCRIPTION:These are field trips to various community places/events to practice our obedience skills in real life situations. These are typically Friday (first or second Friday of the month depending on Facility events) but may occasionally move to another day to accommodate going to a specific event. We will typically move between Lodi\, Galt\, Rancho Cordova\, Folsom\, Amador. We will often go to a store such as Home Depot\, Lowes\, Tractor Supply.  All outings will be at dog friendly locations so that both service dog prospects and pet prospects may attend. \nWe also have regular trips to a patio Restaurant/coffee shop. It is so important to work on life skills\, so like our store outings\, these are designed to get us out of the facility and into the community so that our dogs can learn to settle during social interactions around other dogs. Make no mistake\, while we are having a “social outing” we are training\, so its very important for owners to learn how to maintain training even when not on the “training field”. SUMMARY:Dock Diving 101
DESCRIPTION:Come get involved in the coolest sport around. Whether your dog is an expert swimmer or still needs to learn\, this class is where you get started. We will focus on acclimating dogs to pools for those dogs that haven’t seen a pool. Once they are comfortable swimming in the pool\, they learn to use the ramp\, and then we start on Jumping. Dogs who are already experienced pool swimmers may move more quickly and that’s great! We move at the learning rate of each dog. Class Max size is 5. Dogs are worked individually. No contact between dogs. \nSign up for Dock Diving 101 Schedule Appointment\n \nPlease be aware that once the class is full\, the date longer show on the signup link above.  You may pick a different date\, or keep checking back\, as sometimes\, people adjust their dates and a spot will open up the week prior to class. \nWhat to Bring: Bring a flat or martingale collar and 6-10′ leash for the dock (you can use any equipment  you need to get to the dock\, but once on the dock\, this is the required equipment); your dogs favorite motivators (floating toys and/or food). If you have a lifejacket\, please bring it (do not go buy one if you don’t have it\, you can borrow one).
