SUMMARY:Tracking 101
DESCRIPTION:This session is focused on tracking foundations for IPO. However\, the foundations used for IPO are suitable for introductory SAR work or AKC tracking and each student will work on their own individualized goals. We will be focusing on field work where each dog is.  Tracking will typically be on the property of Gold Country K9 Services. Depending on the attendees and the conditions at GCK9\, we may opt to adjust time slightly and adjust location of class. This is more likely to happen in April\, when we may need to move to a park\, if the grass starts turning to foxtails early. \nSign up here \nBring: Be sure to bring your dogs favorite snacks. I suggest this be something higher value that what you might use for your regular everyday treats. It is best to bring 2-3 things. Examples include; Chicken\, string cheese\, meatballs (broken up)\, Dog Food Rolls (like Lucy’s)\, hot dogs\, etc… you know you’re dog best. DESCRIPTION:This Drop In Obedience Session is only available to current and past Board and Train and Coaching Program Clients.  This class is a part of our larger training program and is limited to those students. Students in this class have already mastered the basics in an individual setting. This is the time to practice skills that were learned in our private sessions with the group distractions. This is set up as a workshop and each person will have a chance to work on individual skills. Those dates will be added seperately. You can sign up for the Fundamentals of Protection  At the root of all things in the IPO sport is obedience and clarity of drive. DESCRIPTION:This is a great time to practice your dock diving skills. This is an unstaffed group event. Each person who comes for open dock just takes turns with the others. If there are several people\, turns are limited to 3-4 minutes per turn. This is a great time to meet other dock divers and get and give some help to each other. This event is “Unstaffed” and thus your dog must either have a recorded jump off a dock or you must have taken a Dock Diving 101 class and have instructor approval. DESCRIPTION:Whether you are after titles\, or just some awesome fun\, come check out the flying dogs! We have so much fun at these events. As always we will plan to BBQ on Saturday night. Please bring a side and join in on the fun. Check our Facebook Event for more details as we get closer to the event! \nThis event will use jump cards.  We will send out a voluntary prepayment link when the date for the pulls from the event occurs. We will send it out again after the event closes. You will make payment and then sign up on the online running order.  It is your responsibility to pay first and then sign up for the appropriate number of splashes.  If you are on the online sign up but have not paid\, we will remove you. You can pay at the event and sign up on the run order there if you prefer\, however\, spots are offered first come\, first served. \nThe online running order will be the running order for the event. First come. First Served.   You may not jump the same dog more than one jump per 1/2 hour. You may stay all day if you wish and spread your jumps over throughout the day (you do not have to leave when your jumps are done as during Covid). The online running order is designed to give you the convenience of knowing when your jump slots are and plan travel accordingly.  If you miss your slot for not being here\, you will be able to sign up in the next available open slot upon arrival. \nYou must have a NADD number to participate. \nSign up Here \nWalkups will be accommodated until entries are maxed out. \nThis is a sanctioned event by North America Diving Dogs. Depending on the week\, we will focus either on the Fundamentals of Protection taught by Cherie Flores. \nWe also have helpers come into the facility for seminars and to do advanced protection work. Those dates will be added seperately. You can sign up for the Fundamentals of Protection  At the root of all things in the IPO sport is obedience and clarity of drive. The fundamentals can and should be taught in a thoughtful manner.  In this class we prepare our dogs to be ready for the helper\, but most of the work is done here so that when we have a helper come in\, the transition is extremely smooth.  Schedule Appointment  \nYou may arrive up 30-60 minutes prior to class to work on your obedience on the field prior to protection. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:This is a great time to practice your dock diving skills. This is an unstaffed group event. Each person who comes for open dock just takes turns with the others. If there are several people\, turns are limited to 3-4 minutes per turn. This is a great time to meet other dock divers and get and give some help to each other. This event is “Unstaffed” and thus your dog must either have a recorded jump off a dock or you must have taken a Dock Diving 101 class and have instructor approval.
